Urgent appointments
All our requests for appointments are assessed by our team to enable you to see the correct clinician in the correct timescale. The team will arrange either a telephone or face-to-face appointment, depending on the appropriateness of the condition.
If you feel that your problem is urgent, you should tell the receptionist and every effort will be made for you to be seen the same day.

Book a routine appointment
All our requests for appointments are assessed by our team to enable you to see the correct clinician in the correct timescale. The team will arrange either a telephone or face-to-face appointment, depending on the appropriateness of the condition.
Ways to book
- Request an appointment online
- Telephone: 01670 713 021 select option 1
Telephone appointments
Telephone appointments are not timed slots, so for the morning the clinician will ring between 8:30am to 1pm and in the afternoon is 2pm to 6:30pm. Please let us know if you are restricted within these times and we do our best to accommodate. The clinician will only try you twice, and then the appointment will need to be re-booked. Please make sure we have an up-to-date contact number at all times.
Sickness certificates (fit notes)
You must give your employer a doctor's 'fit note' (sometimes called a 'sick note') if you've been ill for more than 7 days in a row and have taken sick leave. This includes non-working days, such as weekends and bank holidays.
Travel vaccinations

Home visits
To request a home visit, please call 01670 713 021 between 8:30am and 11am.
Home visits are generally conducted by our Paramedic or Advanced Nurse Practitioner, and are reserved for patients who are truly housebound and too ill to visit the surgery.
Common conditions in children (fevers, coughs, etc.) and adults (cough, sore throat, etc.) typically do not warrant a home visit, as they can be transported by car. Elderly patients usually have family who can assist them in getting to the surgery. Lack of transport is not a valid reason for a house call.
Change or cancel an appointment
Please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer your appointment to someone else.
To cancel your appointment:
- Use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- Cancel using our online service
- Phone us on 01670 713 021
